In an age where screens dominate so much of our daily lives, finding meaningful alternatives to screen time for children has become increasingly important. While technology offers numerous benefits, it's crucial to find a balance and encourage activities that promote creativity, physical activity, and social interaction. Above all, it's helpful to remember that kids are inherently creative and curious -- if you protect their time and set up inviting spaces, they will eventually come back to their creative nature and begin to engage it.

Here are 25 alternatives to screen time that can engage and enrich your child's development and creativity:

1. Outdoor Adventures
- Nature Walks: Explore local parks or nature trails. Find things that are yellow or look for all the fuzzy things.
- Backyard Play: Set up a scavenger hunt or create an obstacle course. It's super fun to set up obstacles for your pup and have the kids teach them how!

2. Creative Projects
- Drawing and Painting: Provide art supplies for imaginative expression. We like to set out lots of different types of materials and encourage mixed media creations.
- Craft Projects: Use recycled materials to build or create something new. Check out our YouTube channel for project ides or explore our Pinterest boards

3. Reading and Storytelling
