Come join us for a season of Wool Play! In this 14-week class, students will be introduced to foundational fiber arts through playful, hands-on projects using natural wool materials.

This Waldorf inspired class emphasizes warmth, rhythm, and the development of practical handwork skills. Working with wool offers a calming, sensory-rich experience that supports focus, coordination, and creativity while building confidence through making.

Students will explore a variety of introductory techniques including knitting, braiding, needle felting, and simple hand sewing. Each project is designed to be approachable and meaningful, allowing students to experience success while developing new skills.

At this age, students benefit from tactile, process-based learning that engages both head and hands. This class provides a gentle and supportive environment where they can explore fiber arts and create beautiful, handmade pieces.

Each week includes:

Opening circle time

Step-by-step instruction in fiber art techniques

Practice with knitting, braiding, felting, and sewing

Simple, guided projects that build skill over time

Time to share and celebrate their work

Supplies:
All materials are provided and included in the cost of the class.

Schedule:
Time: Thursdays from 9:30–10:30am
Dates: Begins September 10th and ends on December 17th (full calendar to come)
Location: Grow Creative Studio inside the Historic Sacred Heart Building in East Hill

Please note: Refunds are available up to one month before the start date. After that, only partial refunds can be offered due to materials being purchased. Enrollment is a commitment to the full session, and payments are expected even if a student withdraws.
