What if music theory felt more like play than study?

Music Games Studio transforms foundational music theory skills into hands-on games, movement, stories, and playful challenges that students will look forward to each week.

Each studio class begins with a short introduction to a musical concept, often paired with a storybook, poem, or creative activity. Then we'll put those concepts into action through games designed to help students build musical confidence without it feeling like work.

Throughout the semester, students will explore rhythm, note reading, ear training, composing, dynamics, and other foundational music theory in a way that is engaging, social, and fun.

This class is a perfect compliment to those taking piano lessons or another instrument, but it's also a wonderful enrichment class for any child who enjoys music and learning through play.

Each week includes:

• Opening circle time

• A brief lesson introducing or reviewing a musical concept

• Interactive games and movement activities

• Ear training and listening exercises

• Creative challenges and team activities

• Time to celebrate progress and learning together

Supplies: All materials are provided and included in the cost of the class.

Time: Thursdays from 4:45–5:45pm

This is a drop-off class - there is in-studio space for parents to wait if needed.

Please note: Refunds are available up to one month before the start date. After that, only partial refunds can be offered due to materials being purchased. Enrollment is a commitment to the full session, and payments are expected even if a student withdraws.
